Two recent foreign policy announcements from the White House signal possible vindication for critics of current Middle East policy.

First, on July 6, President Barack Obama announced he would keep 8,400 troops in Afghanistan past the end of his presidency. Then, he announced on July 11 that he would send 560 additional troops to Iraq, adopting a strategy of U.S. engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan his critics have been advocating since he took office in 2008.

Obama entered office in 2008 hellbent on ending U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, and for a time it seemed he would succeed. In 2010, despite resounding calls to the contrary, Obama did not push the Iraqi government to extend the U.S. status of forces agreement and precipitously withdrew all U.S. troops from Iraq.

Truly a clueless leader.

There are various ways to interpret Islamic scripture in order to attempt to evolve it out of violence. This, of course, does not change the fact that supremacist, fundamentalist Islam is a legitimate, mainstream, virulently anti-Western interpretation of Islam; but it does at least mean that there can be other mainstream versions of Islam that reject violence and Islam’s politico-legal system.

Sharia, on the other hand, is basically set in stone. (Or should I say “stoning”?) Even most Islamic reformers acknowledge that it badly needs reform — not that it can be reinterpreted, but that it needs to be changed. Its provisions and especially its draconian punishments were largely fixed a millennium ago.

The mandate that homosexuals be killed is not from ISIS or al-Qaeda. It is from sharia — which draws on Muslim scripture.

Let than sink in. Liberals/Progressive want American to embrace the influx is muslim into the country and force us to respect their beliefs and customs, but not force them to adapt to our country. If muslims had their way, homosexuals would be killed in the street regularly.

The LBGT community is a pillar of the democratic party, yet they want to have one of the most virulent anti-LBGT communities join their ranks.

Connecting the dots in the San Bernardino bloodshed

These dots represent a serious problem for the Regime. They can't maintain their narrative that ISIS is under control.

The reality is that San Bernardino was the first ISIS sponsored terrorist attack on US soil.

President Obama Asserted America Was Safe from Islamic State Right Before California Attack

Right before the attack in California happened, President Obama explained to CBS’s Norah O’Donnell that America was safe from the Islamic State and urged Americans to feel safe.

“ISIL is not going to pose an existential threat to us,” he said, insisting that although they were a “dangerous organization,” the country had strengthened national security under his administration.

Obama taped his interview with O’Donnell on Wednesday, right before the attacks occurred. The interview was aired on CBS this morning.

It would almost be funny, if not for the tragedies, that the Dear Leader can't catch a break regarding terrorism. He told George Stephanopolis the morning of the Paris attack that ISIS was under control. The he told us we were safe and then San Bernadino happens.

The scandal involving about 50 intelligence analysts for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) who were pressured to downplay the effectiveness of the Islamic State while it was a growing threat is at critical mass.

The Pentagon's inspector general has in his possession emails and other documents that prove there was pressure to doctor the analyses of the Islamic State in order to minimize the threat and talk up the White House "narrative" that the military was doing a good job in degrading the abilities of the terrorist group.

The Dear Leader can't let the fact get in the way of the narrative.

What Defeating ISIS Would Look Like

But there was a rumble in the sky, but not like from one of the few American jets that would occasionally drop a bomb and then depart. No, this was deeper and more distant. The jihadis stopped talking to listen, puzzled. Then they and their world were torn apart.

The first wave of 12 B-52H’s emptied their bays of 750-pound dumb bombs directly over the heart of Raqqa, followed by a second wave, then a third. Crack Air Force ground crews were waiting back at the base in Saudi Arabia, and rearmament took less than two hours. Then they headed north again. In 24 hours, Raqqa ceased to exist.

Obama On His ISIS Strategy -- I’m Not Interested In ‘American Leadership, Or America Winning’

During a press conference detailing his administration’s strategy to destroy ISIS following several devastating terrorist attacks in Paris, President Barack Obama said he’s not interested in “pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning[.]”

Obama’s remarks came several days after ISIS attacks in Paris that killed over 120 people and injured scores of others. Friday night’s attacks on France are believed to be the deadliest terrorist attacks in the country’s history.

Wow, he's just not interested in America winning. Stunning!

Obama -- ISIS not growing, but not 'decapitated'

President Barack Obama said that the U.S. strategy against ISIS has "contained them," but not yet succeeded in its effort to "decapitate" ISIS leadership.

"I don't think they're gaining strength," Obama told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Thursday for an interview that aired Friday morning. "What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq and in Syria. They'll come in. They'll leave. But you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain. What we have not yet been able to do is to completely decapitate their command and control structures. We've made some progress in trying to reduce the flow of foreign fighters."

It's such fortuitous timing that the Dear Leader gave this interview Hours before the Jihadi attack in Paris.

In a Shift Pentagon Deploys Obsolete, Unnecessary Weapon to Fight ISIS in Syria

In a change of course, the U.S. Defense Department on Tuesday announced that it deployed A-10 attack aircraft to Turkey to conduct strikes against the Islamic State in Syria.

The Pentagon had already sent the low, slow-flying gunship overseas to attack ISIS targets in Iraq. An A-10 squadron was reportedly sent to undisclosed bases in the Middle East last fall to join the air campaign against the terrorist group, also known as ISIL.

But the U.S. military recently deployed more of the aircraft, known officially as the Thunderbolt II an unofficially as the Warthog, to join F-16 Fighting Falcon and other American military planes at the Incirlik airbase in Turkey .....

The Air Force has proposed retiring its fleet of almost 300 Warthogs over the next several years to save an estimated $4.2 billion a year and free up maintainers for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, a stealthy multi-role fighter jet and the Pentagon’s most expensive acquisition program.

At an average cost of $180,000,00 per plane, the savings of $4.2 billion dollars will buy you 23 F-35's vs. 300 A-10's.

Cooking the books on ISIS intelligence

An open revolt is under way within the US intelligence establishment, with more than 50 veteran analysts charging their reports on ISIS were systematically changed to reflect the White House line.

Word broke two weeks ago that the Pentagon inspector general is investigating allegations of intelligence manipulation. But a new report Wednesday detailed the startling extent of the wholesale editing — all of it aimed at bolstering the Obama administration’s claims it’s winning the battle against extremism.

One defense official told the Daily Beast this deception is a “cancer within the senior level of the intelligence command.”

The blatant politicization was based in the US Central Command and reportedly involved outright changing of reports. A written complaint to the IG described the atmosphere as “Stalinist.”

Because it doesn't fit the narrative.........

ISIS leader al-Baghdadi repeatedly raped U.S. hostage Kayla Mueller

The information about al-Baghdadi’s extraordinary direct role in the captivity and physical abuse of Kayla Mueller was drawn from, among many sources, the U.S. debriefings of at least least two Yezedi teenage girls, ages 16 and 18, held as sex slaves in the Sayyaf compound as well as from the interrogation of Abu Sayyaf’s wife Umm Sayyaf, who was captured in the U.S. raid, the officials told ABC News.

How liberal insist on trying to have a dialogue with these animals just astounds me.

I normally don't wish ill on people, but I hope that some liberal do good'ers daughter gets kidnapped and abused by one of these animal. May be reality will shine a light into their head, for a change.
