High School Boy Wins All-State Honors In Girls Track And Field

High school girls in Alaska are crying foul after a male sprinter took home all-state honors in girls’ track and field. According to local reports, it was the first time in Alaskan history that a male athlete competed in the girls’ state championships.

Haines senior Nattaphon Wangyot advanced to the state finals in the 100-meter and 200-meter events. He won fifth place in the 100-meter dash and third place in the 200-meter. In both events, he competed against girls as young as ninth grade.

One of the girls Wangyot beat out for a slot at the state meet, Hutchison runner Emma Daniels, took issue with allowing a male athlete to compete in girls events.

“I’m glad that this person is comfortable with who they are and they’re able to be happy in who they are, but I don’t think it’s competitively completely 100-percent fair,” she told a local CBS station.

In an effort to see just how far college students will go to be inclusive and tolerant, Campus Reform reporter Cabot Phillips went to the University of Maryland to see if students would sign a petition to let him play on the women’s basketball team.

The 6’3,” 205 lb. Phillips approached 50 students, and only one of whom pointed out the obvious: he’s a man.

This is a prime example of why liberals and colleges are so broken.

The Obama administration is sending out an edict today to every school district in the country, insisting they open bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers to all children, regardless of sex, or risk federal discrimination lawsuits and yanked federal funds. Schools must treat children as transgender and thus entitled to open facilities access as soon as parents say they are, not after a medical diagnosis or birth certificate change. Schools may, however, give all the other kids with healthy gender identities curtains to hide behind or license to use toilet stalls to change.

In an eerie statement, Education Secretary John King—whom leading Republicans made sure would get confirmed despite his very public failures as New York’s education commissioner including his ardent, widely opposed support for Common Core—described the situation in a way that could apply both to gender-disordered children and opposite-sex children forced to get naked next to them at school.

Congressman Shows Image Of Transgender Women At Urinal On House Floor

Florida Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson unveiled racy photos of transgendered women standing at urinals on the House Floor Friday.

Grayson did so in an effort to support President Barack Obama’s action that would force public schools to allow transgender students into the bathroom of their choice.

“So you folks in North Carolina who are obsessed with where the transgendered go to the bathroom, this is the result you’ve come up with. People who self-identify as women, people who look like women, and people who act like women, they somehow are being driven into the men’s room. And the same thing is true of transgendered who identify as men,” Grayson said, next to an image of individuals who look like women standing before urinals.

The left is in the process of overreaching on an issue that the average voter cares about, deeply. People might be able to rationalize supporting same-sex marriage by telling themselves that, even if it’s not their thing, it makes no difference to them what gay couples do. But if you’re a woman using the locker room at the gym, it might matter quite a lot if a man who says he’s a woman on the inside is using the shower next to you.

We have reached a bizarre moment in our politics, where the “progressive” left resists having conservative speakers on a college campus because they make students feel “unsafe,” but insists that boys who identify as girls be allowed to shower with girls in the public schools, and misgivings must be educated away, or litigated into submission.

Obama Administration Orders Chicago School to Let ‘Transgender’ Boy Into Girls’ Locker Room

President Barack Obama’s Department of Education has ordered a suburban Chicago school to allow a boy who claims to be a girl into the girls’ locker room, whether or not the girls or their parents like it.

The federal decision about who gets to use each toilet and shower in a distant Chicago school came after a male student sued a high school in Palatine, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. The suit claims that the student’s “civil rights” were violated by a school rule which provided the two sexes their own restrooms and locker rooms.

The school offered this singular student a special area for changing clothes and using the restroom. But the boy and his lawyer instead demanded that school officials submit to his claim that he is female and so can use the girls’ facilities.

Yet another reason for home-schooling.
