Espinoza, who was recently released from jail and had rejoined his gang, mistook Shaw’s red Spider Man backpack as proof the star student athlete was a member of a rival gang.

“I’m not surprised that California Representative Barbra Lee invited Black Lives Matter to Obama’s last State of the Union,” Shaw Sr. said. “My son was murdered by an illegal from Mexico.”

“Jamiel’s story doesn’t fit in with their agenda,” Shaw Sr. added.

I think Republicans are missing an opportunity to get lots of black votes. They should use the Jamiel Shaw Jr's tragedy to beat the amnesty crowd to a pulp.

Appeals court deals Obama immigration executive orders a huge blow

Using strong legal language, an appeals court upheld a lower court ruling preventing the administration from implementing the president's executive orders that would have allowed the government to hand out work permits to millions of illegal aliens.

The president's executive orders would have granted at least 5 million illegals and their families three-year green cards and allowed them to be eligible for government health and other benefits. A federal judge in Texas issued an injunction against the orders, which has now been upheld by the appeals court.

If this decision hasn't "put a halt" to the president's lawlessness, it's certainly thrown a monkey wrench into the works. The case faces an uncertain future in the Supreme Court, if the administration chooses to appeal.

With the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals deciding any day now whether to deny the Administration's request to reverse that injunction, this public leak has come at a critical juncture for U.S. enforcement policy.

Will the 26 plaintiff states that have challenged the President’s DAPA program bring this memo to the Fifth Circuit’s attention, before they issue their closely-awaited decision? If this document is indeed the cutting edge of Obama’s strategy for DHS to circumvent Judge Hanen’s injunction order, it would confirm the Administration’s bad faith and contempt both for the court and the law.

Another approach to the anchor baby problem

A debate is currently in progress about the 14th Amendment, its real meaning, and the anchor baby problem. Some say a constitutional amendment is required, while others say that a proper interpretation of the 14th Amendment is all that is required.

There is, however, a way to finesse the problem without even addressing the constitutional issue. The trick is in realizing that anchor babies themselves are not the real problem. The real problem is that the relatives that the anchor babies "anchor" or bring into the country as they grow up. While the 14th Amendment may protect the anchor babies themselves, it does nothing to protect these relatives.

All we have to do is pass laws that make it clear that relatives of anchor babies will derive no benefits from their relationship to the anchor babies. No constitutional amendment is required – just changes to our immigration policies.

Great concept, will have tricky execution, but the Drive-By Media and Illegal Immigration Group will pummel the RINO's Congress into submission.

Bad news from HuffPo contributor -- Changing the Constitution to end birthright citizenship would be unconstitutional

I’m torn between thinking this is one of the most inane legal analyses ever to come out of a lefty blog and that it’s simply the logical conclusion of the “Living Constitution” ethos. If the Constitution is just a vehicle for judges to impose their moral preferences on the majority, why should they let a constitutional amendment stand in the way? If America passed an amendment tomorrow overturning the gay-marriage ruling in Obergefell, I’d say there’s a nonzero chance that some liberal judge somewhere would decide that that amendment simply can’t be read consistently with the Equal Protection Clause and therefore is “moot” or whatever.

It turns out that the very idea of amending the Constitution to end birthright citizenship for the children of immigrants — a move that squarely targets Latinos — would probably be found unconstitutional. The same would be true for a Republican-backed bill with a similar goal that’s pending in Congress…

Sorry, but you can't use that argument. It's been tried in California and it's always a loser.

Trump’s Critics Are Wrong about the Fourteenth Amendment and Birthright Citizenship

His latest proposal to end birthright citizenship has set off alarm bells in the Republican party. The leadership worries that Trump will derail the party’s plans to appeal to the Latino vote.

Establishment Republicans believe that the future of the party depends on being able to capture a larger share of this rapidly expanding electorate. Trump’s plan, however, may appeal to the most rapidly expanding electorate, senior citizens, and may have an even greater appeal to the millions of Republicans who stayed away from the polls in 2012 as well as the ethnic and blue-collar Democrats who crossed party lines to vote Republican in the congressional elections of 2014. All of these voters outnumber any increase in the Latino vote that Republicans could possibly hope to gain from a population that has consistently voted Democratic by a two-thirds majority and shows little inclination to change.

The so called experts have been selling the idea that the Latino vote wants more illegal immigration. BUut a simple application of logic will show the fallacy of that idea. More illegals drive down wages, floods the schools with non-english speakers, and the medical facilities are overrun with non-emergency emergency room visit since the Hospitals can't turn them away.

Mothers of Children Killed by Illegals Demand Democrats Censure Luis Gutierrez

Luis Gutierrez Explodes on Immigration Expert for Quoting His Dismissal of Kate Steinle’s Murder

This reference was to Gutierrez, who brushed off Steinle’s murder during a July 16 interview with Telemundo. “Secondly, on the floor of the House of Representatives, on July 9, quote — and this is in the record, and I’d like to put it in the record once again, because apparently Mrs. Vaughan doesn’t read,” he spat, “what is actually said, in the English language, in the English language, that I have said.”

This was a deeply disingenuous thing for Gutierrez to say about Steinle’s murder: In English, he said he could “only imagine the grief her family is feeling” on the Congressional record. One week later, he said in Spanish her death was “a little thing.” Politicians talk out both sides of their mouth, but thanks to mass immigration, the U.S. can see its elected representatives do so in different languages.

This guy is a piece of garbage. He hasn't learned that people can use the Internet to find ALL the things you say in public, even if it's in another language. He's piised that he got caught, dismissing the loss of Kate Steinle's life.

Miss Vaugn should have snapped back, "Mr. Gutierrez, what have you done to prevent any of these tragedies?"

As Mendoza told Breitbart News: “The mainstream media will never tell the truth and show the suffering of Americans—they’ll show the suffering of illegals. They’ll get kids on the show to cry about how, ‘Dad is getting deported.’ Well you know what? At least, he’s alive. Our children are dead.”

Recently, NBC’s Chuck Todd said he and his staff: “couldn’t find a single study that links violent crime and immigration.”

For Kate and America's Sake, Don't Let Them Get Away with It

In a nutshell, Kate's Law says when these deported illegal criminals get caught sneaking back into the U.S., they get a mandatory five years in jail. Politicians/officials who disobey this law also go to jail. Makes sense? Of course. Will Kate's Law save Americans lives? Absolutely.

Like the wicked witch of the east (or was it the west), Democrat Nancy Pelosi enters the conversation. Rather than compassionately expressing reservations about Kate's Law for whatever reasons, Pelosi attacked it.

Nancy Legosi is just simply a partisan hack, who doesn't care about the little people, you and me, but the activists.

Here's the deal, folks. Donald Trump is polling high in his bid for the WH by addressing illegal immigration. Pelosi and her fellow Democrats want to protect their illegal-immigrant-future-voters-scheme. So, in typical Democrat fashion, Pelosi and her MSM partners are trying to brand Trump a racist and hater for simply talking about illegal immigration.

Throwing the late Kate Steinle, her family, and future American victims under the bus, Miss-ice-water-in-her-veins Pelosi tried to tie Kate's Law to Trump. Nancy Pelosi said Kate's Law should be called the “Donald Trump Act”, meaning it is nothing more than hate-inspired legislation.

Really, Nancy? Have you no shame?

In the Democratic Party, Pelosi's win-the-issue-at-any-and-all cost mindset is the norm. This is why it drives me nuts that Democrats get such high marks for their faux compassion.

Obamacare To Be Opened Up To Illegal Immigrants In California

When President Obama was pushing Obamacare, he stated before a joint session of Congress in September 2009 that it would not be opened up to illegal immigrants.

Remember what happened next? Representative Joe Wilson yelled, “You lie!” and it caused quite a stir.

Wilson may have violated the rules of decorum, but was he wrong? It has taken some time, but President Obama may owe Wilson an apology. From Forbes:

State Senator Richard Lara has already moved a bill through the California State Senate that would allow illegal immigrants to buy unsubsidized health insurance in the state’s Obamacare exchange. The state would have to receive a federal waiver from the Obama administration before implementing it.

The bill would also extend coverage to illegal residents under the age of 19 to enroll in California’s fully paid-for Medicaid program.

The Pew Research Center has estimated that there are 2.5 million illegal immigrants in California.

I'm just shocked to learn that the Dear Leader lied, about his signature program, again.
