Nancy Pelosi -- I Can See Iran from Bahrain (120+ Miles Away)

During a CNN interview on Wednesday, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed she could see Iran across the Persian Gulf when she visited Bahrain.

“I’ve been to the region, I’ve been to Bahrain and looked right across the Persian Gulf to Iran. Everything is very close there,” she claimed.

At their closest points, Bahrain is still over 120 miles away from Iran, far exceeding the distances observed by the naked eye under normal conditions. This makes Pelosi’s claim demonstrably false, barring superhuman abilities.

Where is the mocking of Pelosi "super vision"?

I mean what if Sarah Palin said something like this?

Pelosi was asked on PBS about the fact that the guns used in last week's massacre at a county Christmas party were legally purchased in California, which "has one of the tougher gun control laws in the country."

"Well, it is. And the fact is that's why we need a national gun law so that there is no thought that even though one state may have good laws you can buy guns in another place. These, as you said, were bought in California," Pelosi said.

Quoting one the brighter philosophers of our day, Inigo Montoya, who happens to be a superior intellect that Granny Legosi, "You keep using [those] word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Obamacare’s Cadillac Tax, Designed to Fool ‘Stupid’ Voters, Faces 2-Year Delay

The Cadillac tax was made famous last year by Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber who said it was a ploy designed to fool “stupid” American voters. Now the tax is facing a 2-year delay as part of a congressional budget deal, with leading Democrats helping push the deal forward.

The White House spokesman said on Wednesday that the administration would “strongly oppose” any effort to repeal the Cadillac tax, but that is sounding more and more like an empty threat. Congress is working out a last-minute budget deal which, if it goes through, could delay the start of the Cadillac tax from 2018 to 2020.

The problem for the Obama administration is that the tax is as unpopular with Democrats as it is with Republicans. Hillary Clinton called for its repeal in September. More recently, both Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)came out against the tax and are leading Democratic efforts to delay it as part of the current budget deal. Democratic opposition appears to stem from unions which are against the tax because it impacts the type of generous health plans they negotiate with employers to secure for workers.

The Cadillac tax probably took a fatal PR blow last year when Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber revealed it was created as an accounting gimmick so that progressives could claim it was a tax on insurers rather than individuals. On three separate occasions, caught on video, MIT economist Jonathan Gruber explained the tax was intended to take advantage of Americans’ stupidity. “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, you know, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever,” Gruber told an academic conference at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013.

The Cadillac tax was also dishonest in another way. It was initially sold, as the name implies, as a tax on the very wealthiest and most generous plans. However, the intent all along was to have the number of plans which fell under the proposed limit grow so that, over time, all employer-provided plans were hit with the tax. CNN’s Jake Tapper explained how this was intended to work in an excellent video clip published last year.

Looks like the Dear LEader is not the only congenital liar.

Nancy Pelosi -- ‘Unconscionable’ to Oppose Gun Control That Wouldn’t Have Stopped San Bernardino Attack

With the House GOP opposed to adding the imprecise no-fly list to background checks, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) says it is “unconscionable” to oppose gun control that would not have stopped the San Bernardino attack.

The addition of the no-fly list would not have stopped the San Bernardino attack because the attackers—Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik—weren’t on it. On December 4, CNN reported that Farook and Malik weren’t on “any list” of potential terrorists in the U.S.

But instead of changing their course, Democrats are doubling down and trying to force a vote on gun control in the House.

Pelosi conveniently fails to mention that neither the shooter or the wife were not on any list.

For Kate and America's Sake, Don't Let Them Get Away with It

For my relatives who only get mainstream media spin, here is what's really going on: an illegal alien shot and killed complete stranger, 32-year-old Kate Steinle, while enjoying a stroll with her dad along a San Francisco pier. Kate's scumbag murderer had been convicted of seven felonies and deported five times. And yet, this criminal kept returning to the U.S. without consequence.

A short synopsis of the illegal alien,w ho shot a woman in the Sanctuary City of San Fransisco.

While the coddling of criminal illegals has been going on for many years, Kate's senseless murder was the straw that broke the camel's back in the hearts and minds of many Americans.

In his heart-wrenching appeal to Congress to pass Kate's Law, Kate's dad said the last words he heard his daughter say before she died was, “Help me dad.”

In a nutshell, Kate's Law says when these deported illegal criminals get caught sneaking back into the U.S., they get a mandatory five years in jail. Politicians/officials who disobey this law also go to jail. Makes sense? Of course. Will Kate's Law save Americans lives? Absolutely.

Like the wicked witch of the east (or was it the west), Democrat Nancy Pelosi enters the conversation. Rather than compassionately expressing reservations about Kate's Law for whatever reasons, Pelosi attacked it.

Nancy Legosi is just simply a partisan hack, who doesn't care about the little people, you and me, but the activists.

Here's the deal, folks. Donald Trump is polling high in his bid for the WH by addressing illegal immigration. Pelosi and her fellow Democrats want to protect their illegal-immigrant-future-voters-scheme. So, in typical Democrat fashion, Pelosi and her MSM partners are trying to brand Trump a racist and hater for simply talking about illegal immigration.

Throwing the late Kate Steinle, her family, and future American victims under the bus, Miss-ice-water-in-her-veins Pelosi tried to tie Kate's Law to Trump. Nancy Pelosi said Kate's Law should be called the “Donald Trump Act”, meaning it is nothing more than hate-inspired legislation.

Really, Nancy? Have you no shame?

In the Democratic Party, Pelosi's win-the-issue-at-any-and-all cost mindset is the norm. This is why it drives me nuts that Democrats get such high marks for their faux compassion.

Well, they are cheered on by the Drive-By-Media, who are really just political activists with bylines.

Hence, without further ado, Americans have a moral duty to demand that liberal Democrat apologists who support illegal immigration finally account for the gross recklessness that has resulted in yet another senseless, untimely death.

Why isn't ABC, NBC, CBS, MS-NBC, CNN, et. al rushing to ask US Senator Diane Feinstein, who was the first to sign a law declaring San Fransisco a sanctuary city? How about US Senator Barbara Boxer? Gavin Newsome? and of course Barack Obama?

Would any of these progressive tolerate a Texan town declaring they are a sanctuary city from federal taxes and regulation?

BUT OF COURSE SHE DOES: Nancy Pelosi wants even split on new #Benghazi committee — unlike committee she picked when Speaker, Byron York writes at the Washington Examiner.

In 2007, the House created a Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. As Speaker, Pelosi set up the structure. There were nine Democrats and six Republicans. "The House has a long history of creating Select Committees focused on crucial issues," Pelosi said in a statement. "With a large number of committees exercising jurisdiction over issues affecting energy and climate, the Select Committee will provide the coordination of information on these critical issues."

Now Pelosi wants an even split between the parties. And that is if Democrats even participate. In her statement today, Pelosi said the new Benghazi committee "should require that witnesses are called and interviewed, subpoenas are issued, and information is shared on a bipartisan basis. Only then could it be fair." Pelosi seemed to indicate that Democrats will take part in the select committee, but other Democrats are calling for their party to boycott the panel. As it turns out, Pelosi has a record of doing just that.

However, “Elections have consequences,” Moe Lane writes, linking to a CNN report that says, “House Republicans have decided the select committee to investigate the Benghazi terror attack will include seven Republicans and five Democrats, according to two senior House GOP leadership aides.”

I know most Democrats aren't very smart or understand math. 9 does not equal 6, ever.
