After taunting Hillary Clinton by asking Russian hackers to release 30,000 e-mails she deleted, Donald Trump finally forced Clinton’s campaign to admit that her unsanctioned e-mail server scheme was a “national security issue.”Trump calling out the Hildabeast!

Trump’s comments about Russian hacking followed numerous reports this week that Russian hackers compromised the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) servers and then leaked thousands of e-mails sent by top Democratic staffers. DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign her position as a result of the leaks.
On Wednesday morning, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump asked Russia to turn over the tens of thousands of e-mails deleted by Hillary Clinton. The scandal-plagued former Secretary of State maintained for months that the e-mails were personal, not work-related, and that they were in no way classified.
But in a press release issued on Wednesday, Clinton’s top campaign spokesman suddenly declared those e-mails to be a “national security issue”

Judicial Watch Seeks To Depose Hillary Clinton
From The Daily Caller:
Judicial Watch is asking a federal judge for permission to depose Hillary Clinton as part of its ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit into the former secretary of state’s private email system.Someone has to tighten the noose.
The conservative watchdog group is also asking District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan to allow it to depose a State Department official in charge of records management and a former official who led the State Department’s information resources management division during Clinton’s tenure.
Judicial Watch says that information gleaned from a first round of depositions it conducted in discovery for its FOIA lawsuit — as well as recent statements from FBI director James Comey about Clinton’s setup — necessitates the need to depose the Democratic presidential candidate.

FBI Resignations: Where Are They?
From The American Thinker Blog:
Roughly 150 FBI agents were assigned to the Hillary Clinton email case. It was a criminal investigation to determine if the Secretary of State violated any laws when she a) installed an unauthorized email server in her home, b) conducted State business on that server, c) sent and received classified information on that server, and d) stored classified information on that server. If it was determined that any of the above were crimes, then a criminal indictment would apply.Good Question!
Tuesday, FBI Director James Comey, announced that no charges would be sought.
Where are the FBI agent resignations?

State Department Inspector General’s report demolishes Hillary’s excuses about her private email server
From Thomas Lifson at The American Thinker Blog:
The 83-page State Department inspector general’s report on Hillary Clinton’s private email server puts the lie to many of Hillary Clinton’s repeated claims about her unprecedented private email server. No, it was not permitted, and she never asked. And if she had asked, she would have been told it was not permitted. Even the Washington Post editorial board is appalled, publishing a collective rebuke titled “Clinton’s inexcusable, willful disregard for the rules.”Time for the FBI to give a set of polish nickel bracelets.
The “rules” she disregarded were adopted to implement federal law, the Federal Records Act, so in effect she was violating the law, even though the I.G.’s report deliberately avoids saying so. So Hillary’s repeated claims that her use of the private email system was permitted is a blatant lie.
So, too, is her claim that she has cooperated with investigators. She and her top aides all declined to be interviewed by the I.G. investigators.

IG Report Damns Hillary Clinton and Her Corrupt Staff
From Hot Air via H/T at Ace of Spades HQ:
Major Takeaways:
* Her private email account and server broke the rules, and those rules were promulgated to give specifics to the law. As Rush Limbaugh was just saying, this is a piecemeal way of getting at "she broke the law."It should be checkmate, but with Crooked Hillary, you never know how she might slime out of it.
* She compromised national security recklessly. Her emails document two "attacks" on her unsecure server.
* Of her 26 aides, only five answered the IG's questionnaire. Among the criminals refusing to answer questions (who else but criminals tell the cops to go hang?) are Jake Sullivan, Cheryl Mills, Human "Muslim Brotherhood" Abedin, and of course Hillary Clinton.
* She said she turned over all work related emails and merely destroyed her "yoga routines." She lied. The IG found work emails she did not turn over -- these emails found by other means (such as searching other people's emails).
Ergo, Hillary did not turn over her emails as the law requires, nor did she maintain them, as the law requires. Instead, she destroyed official government records -- illegally.
Her response? It's a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, of course:
Hillary Clinton once talked about a vast right-wing conspiracy to sink her. Today's report proves again she is her own worst enemy.— Julia Ioffe (@juliaioffe) May 25, 2016

Second Federal Judge Orders Discovery Regarding Clinton Emails
From The guys at Powerline Blog:
Judge Royce Lamberth of the U.S. district court in Washington D.C. today became the second federal judge to order discovery regarding Clinton emails. Both cases were brought by the invaluable Judicial Watch.Another step closer to the Frog March!
As we have discussed, Judge Emmet Sullivan, a Clinton appointee, has already granted Judicial Watch discovery on the Clinton email matter in separate litigation. Judicial Watch’s discovery plan in that case seeks the testimony of eight current and former State Department officials, including top State Department official Patrick Kennedy, former State IT employee Bryan Pagliano, and Clinton’s two top aides at the State Department: Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin.
The discovery ordered by Judge Lamberth pertains to emails surrounding the infamous Benghazi talking points — the Obama administration’s attempt to hide the fact that the Benghazi attacks were the premeditated effort of a group connected with al Qaeda.

Source -- Clinton IT specialist revealing server details to FBI, 'devastating witness'
From Fox News via H/T at Instapundit:
Former Hillary Clinton IT specialist Bryan Pagliano, a key witness in the email probe who struck an immunity deal with the Justice Department, has told the FBI a range of details about how her personal email system was set up, according to an intelligence source close to the case who called him a “devastating witness.”So are we going to see Hillary, Huma, or Cheryl Mills being "frogged marched" to jail?
The source said Pagliano told the FBI who had access to the former secretary of state’s system – as well as when – and what devices were used, amounting to a roadmap for investigators.
"Bryan Pagliano is a devastating witness and, as the webmaster, knows exactly who had access to [Clinton's] computer and devices at specific times. His importance to this case cannot be over-emphasized," the intelligence source said.

What Pagliano’s Immunity Deal in the Clinton Email Scandal Reveals
From The American Thinker Blog:
The revelation that former Clinton aide Bryan Pagliano was given immunity by the Justice Department in the former Secretary of State’s email scandal has led to a kaleidoscopic array of interpretations, a true Rashomon moment. Democrats see the granting of immunity of the last step in a process of clearing the Clinton of wrongdoing. Some conservative commentators see the immunity grant as proof that a federal grand jury has been convened with dire consequences for the putative Democrat presidential nominee. It is impossible to say for sure which interpretation is true, but an objective legal view suggests that this development is more likely to bode ill for Clinton than be the first step of her exoneration. From Pantsuit to orange jumpsuit.

Watergate's Carl Bernstein on Hillary
From The Daily Caller:
“The vast right-wing conspiracy didn’t put the server in her damn closet. She’s going to have to get by this thing, and she’s going to have to acknowledge a terrible misjudgment it seems to be here.”Will anyone from the Drive-By Media ask her that question?

Why Hillary’s EmailGate Matters -- In casually disregarding basic security, Secretary Clinton harmed our country and helped our adversaries.
From The Observer via H/T at http://pjmedia.com/instapundit/225327/:
Especially, since she considers herself ABOVE the law and accountability. All this angers Americans with experience in our military and intelligence services who understand what Ms. Clinton and her staff did—and that they would be held to far harsher standards for attempting anything similar. They know that brave Americans have given their lives protecting Top Secret Codeword information. They know that in every American embassy around the world, our diplomatic outposts that worked for Hillary Clinton, Marine guards have standing orders to fight to the death to protect the classified information that’s inside those embassies. That Hillary Clinton gave similar information away, by choice, is something she needs to explain if she expects to be our next Commander-in-Chief.Her disregard wasn’t casual. It was a conscious and involved scheme to avoid the Freedom of Information Act, and possibly also Obama Administration scrutiny of her actions. She put the nation as a whole at risk, along with individual lives of intelligence sources, for political reasons: to avoid accountability.

Will Obama pardon Hillary?
From The American Thinker Blog:
If reports of an imminent indictment for Hillary Clinton are true – that is, if we’re not being played by the administration – then Democrats must be immersed in intense, behind-the-scenes maneuvering to avert a disaster or mitigate the fallout. That surely involves the White House, which may well have the final say on Hillary’s future. Depending on the extent of the evidence, the administration might be unable to quash an indictment outright without threatening another Saturday Night Massacre, but it might be able to navigate a lesser charge. With an assist from the president, that could conceivably make an indictment politically survivable.I'm thinking that the Dear Leader want to make sure the Clinton's are history. He wants to be the current and future leader of the party.
Obama is already on record in a 60 Minutes interview in October stating that he didn’t believe Clinton’s use of a private email server, though a “mistake,” endangered national security. “I don’t think it posed a national security problem,” he told Steve Kroft. “I do think that the way it’s been ginned up is in part because of – in part – because of politics.”
If he feels that way after an indictment, and the indictment is only for email offenses, Obama could pardon Clinton from further prosecution, much as President Clinton pardoned the indicted financier Marc Rich 20 years ago. He could claim that a pardon was crucial to preserve the election process and therefore necessary for the good of the country.
The political backlash would be tremendous, but that has never bothered the Obama administration. Its political backlashes never incite media interest for long, and Democrats in general – and Obama and Clinton in particular – write off all criticism as partisan and groundless. The base might even become energized in support of its beleaguered candidate. Soon we’d be hearing that it’s time to move on, that the matter had been dealt with and was “in the past.” Given the Republican reluctance to press the attack against Democrats in national elections – witness McCain and Romney – that might be the end of the scandal.

Email shows Secretary Clinton helped Joe Wilson get government contracts
From Rick Moran at The American Thinker Blog:
Getting lucrative government contracts is easy – if you know the right people. And in the case of former ambassador Joe Wilson, husband of former CIA officer Valerie Plame, it was Hillary Clinton who greased the skids so that government contracts could go to business associates and friends.I knew the guy was a sleazeball.
Is this really in the job description of the secretary of state?
From The Daily Caller:Wilson’s requests for help — on behalf of an American engineering contractor he consulted for called Symbion Power — is a recurring theme in each monthly Clinton email dump.
The latest two batches of records are no different.
They show that Wilson, who is perhaps most famous as the husband of ex-CIA operative Valerie Plame, emailed Clinton on Dec. 22, 2009 seeking help for Symbion, which was pursuing a U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) contract for work in Afghanistan.
Wilson said he was frustrated that USAID was “mothballing projects and refusing to consider others because of the perceived dangers” in Afghanistan. “If AID won’t do the job, money should be transferred to the military,” he urged.
And in an Aug. 13, 2010 email released on Dec. 31, Wilson asked for help in gaining access to the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq in order to discuss a contract with U.S. military contractors that was being held up.
“The delays in settling these claims are unwarranted and have had a negative impact on Symbion and obliged us to be out of pocket a considerable sum of money through no fault of our own,” Wilson wrote.
In the case of the Afghanistan project, Clinton vouched for Wilson and Symbion as she forwarded the request to Jack Lew, who served then as deputy secretary of state for management and resources. Wilson’s request may also have been discussed with President Obama, as one email indicates.

Is the FBI Closing in on Hillary?
From The American Thinker Blog:
In an administration known for its disdain for accountability and appalling disregard for justice, FBI Director James Comey sets himself apart as a straight shooter and strong adherent of the equal application of the law. To those who know and/or have worked with him, Comey’s character is unimpeachable, his integrity unique, and his pursuit of justice determined, focused, and incorruptible in a capital where such traits are routinely eschewed.I hope she is frogged marched into court for the arraignment. That would be compelling television.
According to Dr. Monica Crowley, quoted below, Comey is closely overseeing his crack cyber-forensic team, which has masterfully managed to do what many claimed couldn’t be done: they accessed the files on Hillary Clinton’s “wiped” email server. If they find ample evidence to indict her, as Crowley intimates below, and the Justice Department decides not to pursue charges, many political pundits foresee Comey resigning, or looking the other way when whatever illegal activity they found starts to leak.
Most observers agree that going after General David Petraeus, a true national treasure, for having some “Confidential” -- not “Top Secret” -- documents stored in a desk drawer, but not pressing charges on Clinton if she sent and received “Top Secret” documents would be seen as, at best, a blatant double standard, and at worst the same kind of collusive corruption we’ve seen for far too long in Washington.

Hillary Knew the Dangers of Private E-Mail but Didn’t Let That Stop Her
From National Review:
The use of personal e-mail was pervasive among Hillary Clinton’s senior staff, at least according to an e-mail released yesterday by the State Department in response to Freedom of Information Act requests. That e-mail shows that Hillary and her close associates were well aware of the security risks presented by the use of private e-mail to conduct official business. They were also concerned that advertising their use of private e-mail for official business would draw hackers like sharks to chum. What was Hillary’s answer? To order the rank and file not to use private e-mail – all the while continuing to conduct her own business on her home-brew server.Laws and rules are for the little people.
........................
Yet the State Department did not tolerate the same personal e-mail practices among career employees. A mere three weeks after this e-mail exchange, a cable signed by Hillary Clinton went out to diplomatic and consular officials serving overseas, alerting them to the security risks brought to light by the Gmail hack and warning those officials to “avoid conducting official Department business from your personal e-mail accounts.” A year later, Mrs. Clinton accepted the resignation of the U.S. ambassador to Kenya after an inspector-general report criticized the ambassador for using commercial e-mail systems to conduct official business.

Valerie Jarrett Throws Hillary Under the Bus on Email Scandal
From Breitbart's Big Government:
This only confirms my belief that Hillary will be indicted by The Obama Regime before the Democratic Convention, if it looks like she will win the nomination.
Obama White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett threw Hillary Clinton under the bus Wednesday at the Washington Ideas Forum, where she told interviewer Andrea Mitchell that the White House gave Clinton guidance forbidding her from using private email. There is gonna be a lot of flying lamps tonight in Chappaqqua.
“Yes, there were. Yeah, absolutely,” Jarrett said when asked if the White House sent guidance to Cabinet secretaries about not using private email. “Obviously we want to make sure that we preserve all government records, and so there was guidance given that government business should be done on government emails and that if you did use a private email that it should be turned over.”
This only confirms my belief that Hillary will be indicted by The Obama Regime before the Democratic Convention, if it looks like she will win the nomination.

FBI Recovers Clinton E-mails Thought to Have Been ‘Wiped’ from Server
From National Review:
FBI investigators examining Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server for possible criminal violations of federal classification law have discovered e-mails thought to have been permanently erased by Clinton last year. There is gonna be a lot of flying lamps in Chappaqua tonight.
Now that at least some of the deleted e-mails have been recovered, investigators can determine whether other messages Clinton withheld as private actually pertained to official business. The FBI will also review the recovered e-mails for sensitive or classified material, just as they’ve done with the messages Clinton initially turned over. A small review of Clinton e-mails undertaken by inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence community found several containing “Top Secret” information that was classified at the time of its transmission. A CIA review made the same determination.Another chapter of "As the Noose Tightens."
