In July, Healey announced a ban on so-called “copycat” assault weapon models. The so-called “Massachusetts legal” guns were modified to comply with the state assault weapons ban — with no collapsible stocks, high-capacity magazines or other banned features — but they still look like the AR-15 and AK-47, and Healey said that is impermissible. Other semi-automatic rifles that perform the same, but don’t have a military appearance, are still legally sold in Massachusetts gun shops.

Legislators on both sides of the aisle blasted Healey’s move as a confusing overreach meant to pump up Healey’s political profile.

Tyson Beckford on Matt Damon -- ‘You Can’t Denounce the Gun’ If You Make Millions Using Guns

Ralph Lauren model Tyson Beckford recently spoke to Matt Damon’s anti-gun rhetoric by observing that it looks hypocritical to “denounce the gun” while you make millions holding a gun in your hand.

Beckford made the comments to a TMZ reporter who caught up with him as he exited the Katana restaurant in West Hollywood.

The TMZ reporter asked Beckford what he thought about the “$25 million” Damon made for his latest film, Jason Bourne. Beckford responded, “Hey, if you can get it, get it.” Then he paused and added, “But I thought he was anti-gun?”

The TMZ reporter pointed out that “there was a stink about [Damon] holding a gun on the Jason Bourne advertisement.” Beckford responded, “Yes, because he claims he’s not 2A friendly. You can’t sit there and denounce the gun when the gun is making you money… Me personally, I don’t play that. I’m 2A all day, but I guess it’s Hollywood.”

Nice to hear about someone, anyone finally calling out Matt Damon for the hypocrite that he is.

Jerry Brown -- We’re Coming for Your High-Capacity Magazines

Regarding the ammunition background checks, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence told the New York Times that the hope is they will serve as a backdoor tool for finding guns that aren’t on the books — something gun control advocates have been trying to do on the national level for decades. The Brady Campaign’s Amanda Wilcox said,

It can give us a handle on who has illegal guns in the state, as well as limiting access to ammunition by dangerous people who may have illegal guns.

However, there is a difference between “illegal guns” and non-registered guns, which may include legal guns (and legal gun owners) that are not in the state government’s database.

The quote from the Brady Campaign spokesperson should leave little doubt the forced registration list will leads to a master list that will eventually lead to confiscation.

Democrat Pushes to Expand ‘Secret’ Gun Confiscations in California

California Assemblyman Phil Ting (D-San Francisco) is pushing to expand firearm confiscations by allowing co-workers and others to file a complaint that sets the “secret” confiscation process in motion.

The confiscations are tied to Gun Violence Restraining Orders (GVROs), which were passed by CA Democrats following Elliot Rodger’s May 23, 2014 Santa Barbara attack. GVROs were touted as a vehicle through which families could petition a court for the seizure of guns from a family member. With order in hand, police could confiscate firearms from the family member without notice.

The GVROs were signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown (D) on October 1, 2014 and became effective January 1, 2016. Assemblyman Ting is now pushing AB 2607 to expand GVROs so co-workers, employers, teachers, and others, can petition a court to have the “secret” confiscations ordered.

The liberal gun control advocate continue to move the State to a point that wll resemble, Australia, gun free, with the exception of those with connections.

Georgia Democrats Introduce ‘Assault Weapon’ Confiscation Bill

On January 11, Democrats in Georgia’s state house introduced a bill that bans “assault weapons” and opens the door for the “seizure” of such weapons, along with accessories like “high capacity” magazines.

The bill–HB 731–is sponsored by Mary Margaret Oliver (D-83rd), Stacey Abrams (D-89th), Carolyn Hugley (D-136th), Pat Gardiner (D-57th), Dar’shun Kendrick (D-93rd), Dee Dawkins-Haigler (D-91st).

California Gun Law Will Let Police Confiscate Legally-Owned Weapons

A new California law scheduled to take effect Friday will allow the police to seize private, legally-owned weapons for up to three weeks without charges or allowing the citizen to contest the seizure.

Under the law, a judge has the power to grant a restraining order telling police to seize a person’s guns, based solely on accounts from family members or police that the person is poses an imminent danger to others. The restraining order can be granted without the affected person knowing it exists or being allowed time to contest it.

This law does seem to violate, what 3 constitutional amendments.

Daily Beast -- Obama, Hillary Toying With ‘Civil War’ Over Gun Confiscation

On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil” if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms.

The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale” may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,” but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters” to come take their guns away.

According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million” believed to be in Americans’ hands.

Yes, “350 million.”

Yep, it will start a civil war and the Red States will win, why, they have most of the guns.

When Obama Says He Won't Take Your Guns, History Proves He's Lying

Hillary’s gun confiscation proposal is going to backfire in a big way

As AP already noted, this is a winning strategy for Clinton in the primary because her base has largely been sold on the idea of things like expanded background checks at the federal level and a national gun registry. (!) How they will react to actual gun confiscation from law abiding owners remains to be seen. But when it comes to the general election, Clinton has a serious storm brewing on the horizon. Regarding a ban on all semi-automatic weapons, including handguns, the public has been consistent in their response for decades. As of last year there was 73% opposition to such a ban, and 63% said that a home was safer if there was a gun in the house.

Those numbers don’t shift when there is a mass shooting. They never do in any significant way. So with all that in mind, I think we need to encourage Hillary to pick up this flag and run with it. In fact, I’m going to go on record as supporting Hillary to be the nominee for the Democrats next year. This is just what the Democrats need and I look forward to her explaining her gun confiscation plans to the public when she debates the eventual GOP nominee.

That ship is going to sink so fast it will make the Titanic look like a sure bet to make it to New York.

Please, please make it the centerpiece of your campaign!

This is Teaching Your Kids

Hey, parents of students attending The College at Brockport in New York! You might want to check out what is teaching your kids. I always thought that in order to teach at the university level, you had to have at least a basic knowledge of fundamental things that are America. Apparently, to become Director of Women and Gender Studies at The College at Brockport (Translation: teach women to snivel, whine, and blame men for their lot in life) you only need to be a dried up hipster hag and be uniquely uninformed about anything having to do with BADTHINK, such as guns, for instance. Barbara LeSavoy is just that – an endless fount of stupid in a world where stupid is pretty damn common!

I urge President Obama to ban firearm possession in America. He is the president of the United States. He can change the country. He can do it today. I believe in him.

Delusion much?

He’s such a miracle worker, that he will somehow take a large, steamy dump on the Constitution, and no one will bat an eyelash! That’s how brilliant he is!
