Retired Los Angeles police Sgt. Jim Parker — who made national news after arresting Django Unchained actress Daniele Watts for lewd behavior in 2014 and who was accused of racism by the actress during the incident — faces a $10,000 fine for leaking audio from the arrest to gossip outlet TMZ.As is typical with leadership (or the lack thereof) in a Democrat controlled city, police officers are thrown under the political correctness buss.
........................
Parker was charged with violating confidentiality by releasing the audio to the tabloid news outfit without authorization, according to the Los Angeles Times. The officer was order to participate in a disciplinary hearing over what authorities called insubordination, which stemmed from Parker’s decision to share information with the press without permission. Parker, however, resigned from the LAPD in June 2016 after serving on the force for 26 years.
During a hearing on Monday, Parker admitted to leaking the audio of Watts’ arrest to TMZ. The retired officer said he passed the audio onto the press in an effort to clear his name, stating that his superiors failed to support him during the controversy.

Video game director plays the KKK card as he ruins superhero prom picture
From Twitchy via H/T at Instapundit:
What's wrong with these people?
Meet video game director David Jaffe who told his 50,000+ Twitter followers that this awesome photo of some kids enjoying prom dressed as superheroes was “sexist.”Another Hollywood liberal taking the fun out of another All-American high school tradition -- The Prom. You see, it’s sexist because the men are “heroes” in “serious thought” while the women are “subservient” and “all smiles”:As a comicGeek,I so want 2 love this prom picture. But it's so grossly unaware of how sexist it is that I just can't. pic.twitter.com/n0H4Ni13Mg
— davidscottjaffe (@davidscottjaffe) May 8, 2016@LAME_STREET @MShaneman I'd imagine the Klan was 'into it' when they lynched people. Doesn't make the act any less racist/horrific.

Indictments Are In For The 3 Black Students Who Hoaxed Hillary With Phony Hate Crime Claim
From The Daily Caller:
The three black University of Albany students who alleged that they were victims of a race-based hate crime on a public bus back in January have now been officially indicted themselves.Ooops! Busted!
...................
The racially-charged allegations sparked immediate outrage on campus. Hundreds of students gathered on campus for a protest. They demanded justice. They tied the incident to the national Black Lives Matter movement. SUNY Albany president Robert Jones cut an off-campus trip short to return and pledge to hold the perpetrators “fully responsible.”
...................
Burwell and her comrades might have gotten away with their claims if it wasn’t for those darn 12 different cameras on the bus at the time that were able to capture the incident in detail. Several of the cameras captured audio.

Camera Saves Cop from Racial Hostility -- Again
From the American Thinker Blog:
Good. More people need to be shamed into polite behavior.
Another camera saves another cop: This time in Texas, from a black state legislator who in a public hearing accused a cop of racism.Since it's on camera, Coleman needs to be charged and punished to the maximum allowed by law. If fact, all the folks who make these false charges must be prosecuted. They act in this manner because there is not risk of punishment, only reward. So make the reward not worth the risk.
..........................
“He talked to me a like a child,” Coleman said during the hearing. “He was so rude and nasty. When he found out I was a legislator he became more rude and nasty. What I’m saying is that he treated me like a boy. I want to be very clear about it.”
This is familiar territory for Coleman, who gets lots of awards for accusing lots of people of racism. But the cop’s dash camera recorded a different story. One that must interrupt, however briefly, Coleman’s installation in the Black Victims Hall of Fame.
The cop’s camera recorded the state legislator as he burned by him doing 94 miles per hour — in his personal car with state tags.
On the side of the road, the officer and the black legislator exchanged pleasantries then got down to business: “What’s the rush,” asked the cop, congenially.
“I’m just trying to get home,” Coleman said, alternately saying he was unaware he was doing 94 mph, or that he did not know 94 mph was illegal.
“Stop speeding in a state car, OK?”
Coleman denied it was a state car.
“You got state plates on it.”
“I understand what you are saying, speed got away from me,” Coleman said. “But I am not a child.”
Then Coleman was on his way. Ticketless.
After the video came out, constituents by the hundreds took to Coleman’s Facebook page and other internet outlets to blast him for lying about the cop, his sense of entitlement, and how he should have received a ticket for driving dangerously fast.
All caught on camera.
About the same time, papers throughout the country proclaimed that a black actress from the movie Django Unchained was arrested because police wrongly mistook her for a prostitute when all she was doing was kissing her boyfriend. It was nice to see that the Judge forced her to make an apology, basically to embarrass her.
She was humiliated. Mistreated.
At least that is what she told the world on Facebook soon after her encounter with a Los Angeles cop: “I remember the countless times my father came frustrated with cops when he came home and had done nothing wrong,” said Daniele Watts.
For many across the country the story was familiar enough: A cop was picking on a black person for No Reason What So Ever. And he was mean and hostile and it was all about racism.
The audio tape two days later put the lie to that: The cop was polite. Patient. Soft spoken. Watts was defiant and uncooperative and loud. “Do you know how many times police have been called because I am black,” she asked the cop, refusing to produce her ID.
“Thanks for playing the race card,” he replied. “I never hear that.”
Watts went on to threaten the cop with her dad, her publicist, her dying stepmom, and her studio.
The officer remained unflappable.
Watts and her boyfriend were eventually charged with lewd conduct after some photos surfaced of some fairly intimate activity taking place in their car, on a busy street, in the middle of the day. They pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct.
As part of the sentence, they were required to write a letter of apology to the officer. In the letter, the couple said they were glad they were arrested because they drew attention to the problem of white racism in America.
Good. More people need to be shamed into polite behavior.

NAACP President Rachel Dolezal Outed As White Woman
From Matt Forney at Return of Kings:
A year ago, I wrote a satirical article about “transracialism” with the intent of making fun of transsexuals, but even then, I had no idea that “transracialism” would actually become a thing. While there’s been a small movement of soi-disant “transniggers” on Tumblr, that well-known repository of mental illness and special snowflaking, Rachel Dolezal is the first example of this phenomenon in the real world. What Rachel Dolezal has done is prove the intellectual dishonesty liberals have been trying to force on the rest of society is basically a pile of horse excrement.
How Transsexuality Paved The Way For Rachel Dolezal
The revelation of Dolezal’s true racial heritage has triggered a flurry of condemnations from left-wing thought organs such as Salon, the same ones that have normalized transsexuality and a host of other mental disorders. What they don’t realize is that by their own logic, the left has no right to criticize Dolezal for lying about being black. For decades now, leftists have argued that race and gender are social constructs with no biological basis. This ludicrous line of reasoning allows the left to deny basic, observable physical differences between men and women (such as physical strength) as well as scientific data showing cognitive and behavioral differences between different ethnic groups. It has also been used to justify transsexuality: since there’s no biological basis for gender, a man who takes estrogen and gets his rocket flayed into a pocket is just as female as women who were born that way.By this logic, on what basis can the left condemn Rachel Dolezal? If race is a social construct, then it doesn’t matter that Dolezal is a homely white girl from Montana; if she feels black on the inside, she is perfectly justified in changing her appearance and acting black. If we’re supposed to celebrate Bruce Jenner for embracing his “true” femininity through surgery and hormones, then we should also celebrate Dolezal for embracing her “true” race.

Why Was the LA Chapter of the NAACP Set to Give Donald Sterling His Second NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award?
From Ace of Spades HQ:
Yep, basically, Sterling bought and paid for indulgences from the Local Chapter of the NAALCP ( National Association for the Advancement of LIBERAL Colored People). And this comes as some type of surprise? The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) accepted multiple grants over a period of several years from Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, and publicly defended Sterling even after some in the African-American community complained about his alleged racism. ...So both parties enter a mutually beneficial transaction: The NAACP gets money, which it needs, and Sterling gets a pass, and maybe even two Lifetime Achievement awards, which he needs.
NAACP’s LA chapter was financially supported by Sterling’s foundation, records reveal. Jenkins, representing the NAACP, received a grant from Sterling’s foundation at the 2013 Donald T. Sterling Charitable Foundation Gala just four months ago..
Jenkins also accepted a grant from Sterling’s foundation in 2010 at Sterling’s foundation’s charity summit at the Sterling World Plaza. The Los Angeles NAACP was listed as one of the 25 charities supported by Sterling in promotional material for the event.
But while I understand it, I also understand it's a very shady transaction, and it sure the hell makes the NAACP seem less than principled.

Bill Kristol Shreds Bill Maher's Claim Tea Party Happened Just Because Obama Is Black
From Breitbart's Big Journalism:
“The Tea Party condemned a lot of things it was right to condemn,” Kristol responded, before adding, “That was not the origin of the Tea Party. What was the origin of the Tea Party five years ago? It was about a mortgage bill, and it was about Obamacare, and it was about the stimulus.”Boom ! ! !
Maher then claimed the entire Tea Party movement was racist. “It was about a black president,” he said.
Kristol retorted, “That’s bullshit. That is total bullshit. You think tens of millions of people out there just – even you don’t believe that. You’re just saying that.”
“I totally believe it,” Maher replied. “It happened a month after he took office. Suddenly white people were very upset about debt even though Bush had raised the debt way more than Obama had.”
Kristol responded to that point by noting that the Tea Party movement was also “upset at Bush for raising the debt.”
“There [were] conservatives upset at Bush for raising the debt, and Tea Partiers rebelled against the Republican establishment as well as the Democratic establishment,” Kristol said.
Margaret Hoover, a GOP activist also on the panel, backed Kristol up at that point, noting that Maher had argued that the Tea Party movement was spawned by bailouts – and by Obama’s blackness – and that he cannot have it both ways.

MSNBC president apologizes to RNC, fires employee responsible for tweet
From the Daily Caller:
In the wake of the Republican National Committee’s call for an effective boycott of MSNBC over an offensive tweet, network president Phil Griffin issued an apology Thursday.I like that the head of the RNC called for a boycott of PMS-NBC by all Republicans, but he should have called for a boycott of all NBC channels unless the apology was on air and Griffin forced to answer questions for someone like Ann Coulter.
“The tweet last night was outrageous and unacceptable,” Griffin wrote in a statement read on air by The Cycle host Ari Melber, according to Mediate. “We immediately acknowledged it was offensive and wrong, apologized and deleted it.”
“We have dismissed the person responsible for the tweet,” he continued. “I personally apologize to Mr. Priebus and to everyone offended. At MSNBC, we believe in passionate, strong debate about the issues, and we invite voices from all sides to participate. That will never change. Signed, Phil Griffin.”
RNC — That’s it, we’re boycotting MSNBC until its president apologizes
From Hot Air:
Ed wrote about this Twitter storm earlier, but in case you’d missed it, here’s what the official feed of MSNBC — an ostensible “news” network — discharged last night:This cable channel needs a management enema.
Distilled, repellent race-baiting. The tweet was quickly taken down with an apology issued, but the Republican National Committee isn’t in a forgiving mood. Reince Priebus blasted out the following memo to all RNC staff, surrogates and strategists, urging Republicans of all stripes to refuse to appear on the network until its president personally apologizes for this most recent episode in an interminable string of nasty racial attacks against conservatives:
Unfortunately, this tweet is just the latest in a pattern of poor statements by MSNBC and its hosts. This morning I left a message with MSNBC President Phil Griffin to express my displeasure. I have sent him a letter demanding that he personally, as president of the network, take responsibility and apologize for the disgusting tweet. Until he takes internal corrective action and personally apologizes—not just to the RNC but to all right-of-center Americans—I’m banning all RNC staff from appearing on, associating with, or booking any RNC surrogates on MSNBC. As an elected official, strategist, or surrogate, I’m asking for you to agree to the same. We can have our political disagreements with MSNBC, but using biracial families to launch petty and ridiculous political attacks is low, even by MSNBC’s standards. It only coarsens our political discourse. MSNBC hosts—including Alec Baldwin, Martin Bashir, Melissa Harris-Perry, Alex Wagner, and Ronan Farrow just to name a few—have had a troubling streak in the last several weeks of making comments that belittle and demean Americans without furthering any thoughtful dialogue. Perhaps it’s time for the executives at MSNBC to consider whether their network is upholding a meaningful journalistic mission. This is more than just a tweet or an offhand comment. This is part of a pattern of behavior that has gotten markedly worse, and until Phil Griffin personally apologizes and takes corrective action, we cannot be part of this network’s toxic programming.Questions: Why does MSNBC employ so many flaming jackholes as on air talent? And why do these people seem to believe they have free reign to spout any thought that may pop into their head, no matter how vile or mean-spirited? Who is responsible for the network’s…climate of hate, to borrow a term? I’ll leave you with a flashback to why Priebus must be relishing this opportunity to twist the knife. He has a bit of a history with MSNBC, you see, typified by a wild-eyed Chris Matthews calling him “garbage” (for alleged race-baiting, ironically) at the 2012 Republican National Convention. Priebus fired back, labeling Matthews “the biggest jerk in the room:”
Network that mocked biracial family accuses conservatives of freak-out over Cheerios ad, or something
From Hot Air
If it wasn’t for the oh-so-recent context that renders this acidly ironic, MSNBC’s latest foray into idiocy would hardly be worth mentioning. Coming just a few weeks after its own hosts mocked Mitt Romney’s family and Republicans over a family picture that showed Romney proudly holding his adopted African-American granddaughter — which eventually produced a tearful apology from Melissa Harris-Perry — the network’s official Twitter feed offered up this bon mot about a cereal ad that has nothing to do with politics at all (via Gateway Pundit and Twitchy):
Somehow this is just not surprising anymore, it's almost expected.
......................
Most people, I think, have come to the conclusion that a citation of racism works in a similar way to Godwin’s Law. It’s the final, and losing, stage of any argument these days, at least those which involve progressives in any way.
Update: Is MSNBC executive editor Richard Wolffe “the most clueless person on the Internet”? John Sexton makes a pretty good argument for it.

Did D'Souza Hit a Nerve?
From Richard Butrick at American Thinker:
Ridiculed. Lampooned. Denigrated. That was the reaction that Dinesh D'Souza got upon launching his thesis about President Obama's mindset in his 2010 Forbes article, "How Obama Thinks." He argued in effect that president Obama's mindset was locked and loaded with the blame-colonialism doctrine that is still alive and well in post-colonial Asia and Africa.I remember this article and thought D'Souza experience growing up in Mumbia India had influenced his though process a bit too much. But it seems as if D'Souza was much more accurate than anyone gave him credit for.
.......................
The question, then, is one of connecting the dots. And the dots are lining up in favor of the D'Souza thesis.
Let me just recount some dot alignment presented by D'Souza.
How does one connect these dots?
(1) Obama backs offshore drilling in Brazil but not the US
(2) The Gulf oil spill is used as an occasion to lecture the US on the evils of our fossil fuel consumption.
(3) Obama backs a 100 million dollar mosque near Ground Zero but turns a blind eye to the prohibition in many Arab countries against building any new churches.
(4) Supports the release of the Lockerbie bomber but incarcerates the producer of an anti-Mohamed film.
(5) NASA Chief Charles Bolden announced that from now on the primary mission of America's space agency would be to improve relations with the Muslim world.
.......................
Now add in the actions of his enforcer-in-chief, Holder.
(1) Low rate of Black home ownership? Racist banks.
(2) High rate of Black unemployment? Racist hiring practices.
(3) High rate of Black high school dropouts? Racist high school disciplinary practices.
(4) Income inequality of Black and Hispanics? Racist, exclusionary corporate culture.
(5) Turmoil in the Middle East? Hatred of the US? Orientalism, imperialism, colonialism, jingoism - aka racism.
(6) and now the Obama administration, led by Holder, has decided that Islam is a race. Therefore to examine or even to adduce a Muslim's Islamic beliefs about jihad, beheading, violence against kuffar ("infidels"), or re-establishing a caliphate is tantamount to racism.

Tweet of the Day
I was not even going to address this faux outrage of the clowns at PMS-NBC, but Iowahawk strike again:
If I were a Freudian, I'd say Perry accused the Romneys of adopting a black child for the precise reason she suspects MSNBC adopted her.
