Philadelphia Inquirer -- Waiting Period Could Have Prevented Sandy Hook

On June 13, the Philadelphia Inquirer weighed in on the feeding frenzy against AR-15s with a column that claimed a waiting period could have prevented Adam Lanza from opening fire on Sandy Hook innocents.

The immediate flaw with this argument: Lanza stole his guns. In so doing, he circumvented any and all gun controls. So a waiting period would not have made a bit of difference.

On the other hand, the Inquirer column contends that a waiting period might have prevented Omar Mateen from allegedly killing around 50 innocents in Orlando. The problem with this suggestion is that Mateen did submit to a waiting period for the handgun he used in the attack. In fact, Mateen complied with all gun control laws to acquire his guns and even possessed a Florida Security Officer license and a Statewide Firearms License on top of everything else.

The Inquirer somehow missed this.

It was not missed, but ignored!

They won't let the facts get in the way of the narrative.

Seriously. Adam Lanza blew past all gun control by stealing his guns, and he killed 26 people. Omar Mateen submitted to every gun control on the books — including a waiting period for his handgun — and he allegedly killed about 50. Can the Inquirer explain the advantage of a waiting period?

Ask every one of you gun control advocating friends one question, "What law would have prevented Mateen from getting his guuns?

Here’s The Moment The White House Admitted They Lied About The Iran Nuclear Deal

Fox News’ White House correspondent Kevin Corke asked Earnest a simple question.

“Can you state categorically that no senior official in this administration has ever lied publicly about any aspect of the Iran Nuclear Deal?”

Earnest’s response?

“No.”

So it is incumbent on every White House reporter to ask Earnest every time he asks a question that conflicts an answer in the past, " Are you lying now? or then?"

White Lies Matter

Since 1998 Clinton has blamed her poor reputation on the vast right-wing conspiracy. Whitewater, Travelgate, Filegate, the health-care disaster — it was all the fault of the Republicans. What’s forgotten is that Clinton has been lying in the service of her ambitions — most notably by protecting her husband from the truth of his infidelities — since long before Bill ran for president. Nor can she blame conservatives for her failure to win the Democratic nomination eight years ago. Hillary can’t help being secretive and deceptive. It’s her nature.

As William Safire once said, Hillary is a pathological liar, she just cnn't help it.

Obamacare’s Cadillac Tax, Designed to Fool ‘Stupid’ Voters, Faces 2-Year Delay

The Cadillac tax was made famous last year by Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber who said it was a ploy designed to fool “stupid” American voters. Now the tax is facing a 2-year delay as part of a congressional budget deal, with leading Democrats helping push the deal forward.

The White House spokesman said on Wednesday that the administration would “strongly oppose” any effort to repeal the Cadillac tax, but that is sounding more and more like an empty threat. Congress is working out a last-minute budget deal which, if it goes through, could delay the start of the Cadillac tax from 2018 to 2020.

The problem for the Obama administration is that the tax is as unpopular with Democrats as it is with Republicans. Hillary Clinton called for its repeal in September. More recently, both Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)came out against the tax and are leading Democratic efforts to delay it as part of the current budget deal. Democratic opposition appears to stem from unions which are against the tax because it impacts the type of generous health plans they negotiate with employers to secure for workers.

The Cadillac tax probably took a fatal PR blow last year when Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber revealed it was created as an accounting gimmick so that progressives could claim it was a tax on insurers rather than individuals. On three separate occasions, caught on video, MIT economist Jonathan Gruber explained the tax was intended to take advantage of Americans’ stupidity. “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, you know, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever,” Gruber told an academic conference at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013.

The Cadillac tax was also dishonest in another way. It was initially sold, as the name implies, as a tax on the very wealthiest and most generous plans. However, the intent all along was to have the number of plans which fell under the proposed limit grow so that, over time, all employer-provided plans were hit with the tax. CNN’s Jake Tapper explained how this was intended to work in an excellent video clip published last year.

Looks like the Dear LEader is not the only congenital liar.

I didn't get to this yesterday, but over the weekend, George Clinton Foundation Donor Stephanopolous asked Her Drunkenness about the claims made by the families of those killed in Benghazi that, while they were waiting to receive the caskets from Libya, Hillary blamed the attacks on the YouTube filmmaker and promised to "get" him.

She says they must be misremembering, because of trauma.

Seems strange -- they've been saying this since nearly after it happened.

Hillary, meanwhile, is a longterm drunk and habitual liar with a secret history of unexplained falls and head problems.

I wonder who I should believe.

I believe the habitual liar says everyone in the Drive-By Media, other wise know as Democratic Operatives with Bylines.

New Clinton Email Shows Pentagon Had Forces Ready To Respond To Benghazi Attack

American military forces were available for a rescue operation not long after the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya, came under attack by terrorists Sept. 11, 2012, according to an email to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s closest aides.

The Sept. 11, 2012, email was sent at 7:19 p.m. EST by then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash. The text reads:

“I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [an apparent reference to Clinton]

“After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a [REDACTED].

Is someone is finally going to admit that either Obama of Hillary is responsible for abandoning those men to die.

President Obama Dogged by Credibility Gap

Well, when you say you’re at war with ISIS, but you only sound angry at Republicans, people notice. Two days before the San Bernardino mass murders, I was a guest on a call-in show on Wisconsin Public Radio. It’s an arm of NPR, so the callers were, let’s just say, decidedly left of center. One mentioned “the Koch brothers” in tones one might reserve for “Nazi Party.” A second caller alluded casually to the “discredited and doctored” Planned Parenthood tapes; a third mumbled something about deporting “white Christians.”

The most sensible-sounding interlocutor was a self-described conservative who says he accepts the fact of global warming—and human responsibility for it—but has trouble accepting anything at face value proposed by Barack Obama in the way of a solution. Why? Because Obama has a credibility gap with this man, who cited the president’s assurances while lobbying for the Affordable Care Act that Americans who already had health insurance could keep their plans and their doctors. The caller also mentioned the administration’s spurious assertions about the 2012 killing of four Americans in Benghazi.

Many Americans, not all of them Republicans, can’t understand Obama’s reluctance to use the word “Islamic” in connection with these attacks—even though “Islamic” is in ISIS’s title. A clue to his stubbornness is that the president won’t even say “ISIS.” He insists of calling the group “ISIL,” which was an early transliteration of the Arabic name for the group, but which it has since dropped. Obama pronounces this acronym “Issel,” as though it’s less likely to give offense that way.

This was a long winded way of saying, no one trust the Dear Leader because he always lies.

Hillary Clinton’s million little lies

To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, the conqueror of Mount Everest — even though she was already 6 years old when he made his famous ascent.

On a visit to war-torn Bosnia in 1996, she claimed she and her entourage landed under sniper fire and had to run “with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base” — although videos of her arrival show her waltzing serenely across the tarmac, waving to the crowd.

She blamed the 2012 attack on American diplomatic and intelligence-gathering installations in Benghazi on “a disgusting video” when she knew almost from the first moment that it was a jihadist assault that took the lives of four Americans, including the ambassador to Libya.

No wonder the late William Safire, writing in The New York Times in 1996, at the height of the Whitewater investigation, called her a “congenital liar.” Said Safire: “She is in the longtime habit of lying; and she has never been called to account for lying herself or in suborning lying in her aides and friends.”

And the Drive-By Media, who are basically democratic operative with bylines, have been covering up her lies for decades.

Has she ever been asked to apologize for claiming :there is a vast right wing conspiracy" against her husband, when the Monica Lewinsky rumors starting leaking out. They was no conspiracy, it was just Bill.

Just imagine, if her name was Nixon, or Bush, who the Drive-By Media give them a pass?

Media Get Curious About Hillary’s Story of Joining The Marines

A week ago, this author explicitly called out the media for failing to cover Hillary’s claims that she tried to join the Marines in 1975. On Thursday, CNN senior Washington correspondent Jeff Zeleny followed up on that story. The story first cropped up in 1994, when Hillary said she visited a recruiting office in Arkansas, but was rejected because of her age and thick glasses. Hillary said, according to New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, that the Marines told her, “You’re too old, you can’t see and you’re a woman…Maybe the dogs would take you.” Hillary added, “It was not a very encouraging conversation. I decided maybe I’ll look for another way to serve my country.”

Zeleny, asked about Hillary’s Marine story on CNN, said:

We don’t have enough specifics actually to actually know if it’s true or not..... She didn’t give any explanation. So, we asked her campaign for just a few more details on this. Because it seems so unusual that a Yale-educated lawyer who worked on the anti-war campaigns of McCarthy and McGovern, who had just moved to Arkansas, whose husband was about to become the Attorney General of the state would decide to want to join the Marines. But the campaign said they’re not going to add any more comment on this. So the questions are left to discuss here.

The quote above should give any logic person pause about Hillary's claim.
