Khizr Khan has no shame
From The American Thinker Blog:
There is no comparison between Khizr Khan and Mrs. Pat Smith. Mrs. Smith has consistently spoken out that Hillary lied to her by blaming the Benghazi attack on a video when Hillary knew it was a terrorist attack. Further, Hillary told her they would "get" the video maker. Thus, Mrs. Smith has a justifiable complaint that Hillary lied about the cause and failed to provide the requested security prior to the attack, and the failure to do anything to help the Americans at Benghazi. There is a clear connection between Sean Smith's death and Hillary's conduct. The man was a usefull idiot!
Mr. Khan's son was killed in 2004. There is absolutely no connection between his death and Donald Trump. Trump did not lie to Khan about how his son was killed or who was responsible. It appears that Khan was recruited to the Democratic convention simply to attack Trump's immigration policy of proposing to suspend immigration from Muslim countries during the current war on terror.
It is Mr. Khan who should be ashamed for using his son's death to make a political statement about immigration. It does not even make sense. Khan said that if Trump's policy of suspending immigration was in effect prior to 2004, then his family could not have immigrated, and his son would not have been able to serve the USA. But his son would be alive. What is more important: that his son would be alive, or that he can use his son's death to make a political statement?

Obama’s Final Revenge -- The Accidental Destruction of Hillary Clinton
From National Review:
A majority of Americans think Trump is running to help America. They think Hillary is running to help Hillary. If voters vote based on their wallets, Hillary loses and the Media knows it. So they have to make Trump a bad guy.
That’s Hillary’s fault.
But more important, it’s Barack Obama’s fault, and the Left’s fault.
And the Democrats have paid the price. The media that built Obama into a godhead for racial progress couldn’t abandon Obama; instead, they kept happy-talking their way through an increasingly dystopian America. So did Obama’s fellow Democrats. The result: massive Republican gains at the state and local level, and historic elections in 2010 and 2014 in Congressional races.
The media still can’t escape the Obama trap. When Donald Trump rightly pointed out a series of problems facing America at home and abroad, ranging from rising crime and economic malaise to the rise of jihadism, the media and the Obama administration responded by pooh-poohing Trump’s critique. No, they said, Trump’s wrong: Everything’s hunky-dory. He’s just being too “dark.”
Except he isn’t. And Americans know that.
Donald Trump Just Got Hillary Clinton To Admit Her E-mails Are A ‘National Security Issue’
From The Federalist:
After taunting Hillary Clinton by asking Russian hackers to release 30,000 e-mails she deleted, Donald Trump finally forced Clinton’s campaign to admit that her unsanctioned e-mail server scheme was a “national security issue.”Trump calling out the Hildabeast!

Trump’s comments about Russian hacking followed numerous reports this week that Russian hackers compromised the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) servers and then leaked thousands of e-mails sent by top Democratic staffers. DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign her position as a result of the leaks.
On Wednesday morning, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump asked Russia to turn over the tens of thousands of e-mails deleted by Hillary Clinton. The scandal-plagued former Secretary of State maintained for months that the e-mails were personal, not work-related, and that they were in no way classified.
But in a press release issued on Wednesday, Clinton’s top campaign spokesman suddenly declared those e-mails to be a “national security issue”

Trump looking to purge Obama political appointees if he wins
From Rick Moran at The American Thinker Blog:
Reuters is reporting that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie told Trump donors in a closed door meeting that the nominee would seek to reform the Civil Service Act to make it easier to fire Obama political appointees.People like Lerner or Koskinen. Embedded people, who are partisans.Christie, who is governor of New Jersey and leads Trump's White House transition team, said the campaign was drawing up a list of federal government employees to fire if Trump defeats Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 presidential election.
.............................
Trump's transition advisers fear that Obama may convert these appointees to civil servants, who have more job security than officials who have been politically appointed. This would allow officials to keep their jobs in a new, possibly Republican, administration, Christie said.
“It’s called burrowing," Christie said. "You take them from the political appointee side into the civil service side, in order to try to set up ... roadblocks for your successor, kind of like when all the Clinton people took all the Ws off the keyboard when George Bush was coming into the White House.”

The Case for Donald Trump: The alternative is President Hillary Rodham Clinton
From The Wall Street Journal via H/T at Instapundit:
This logic just confirms the choice is to vote for Trumo.
When presidents enter office, they bring with them about 6,000 people. From the head of the Environmental Protection Agency and White House assistants down to the lowliest Justice Department lawyer, Mrs. Clinton would fill her government with people who get up each day looking to tax, spend, regulate—and use the federal government to stomp on anyone in their way. And, of course, the press, and the “Deep State,” will keep Trump in check in a way they’d never do with Hillary.
At a time when so much of American “law”—from the Health and Human Service’s contraceptive mandate, to the Education Department’s “Dear Colleague” letters on transgender policy, to the National Labor Relations Board’s prosecution of Boeing for opening a new plant in South Carolina instead of in Washington state—is decided by faceless federal bureaucrats, Mrs. Clinton would stuff these federal agencies from top to bottom with Lois Lerners and Elizabeth Warrens.
Welcome to 21st-century American liberalism, which no longer even pretends to produce results. Whatever the shortcomings of Mr. Trump’s people, non-progressives simply do not share the itch to use the government to boss everyone else around. On top of this, an overreaching President Trump would not be excused by the press and would face both Republican and Democratic opposition.
Fair enough to argue that Mr. Trump represents a huge risk. But honesty requires that this risk be weighed against a clear-eyed look at the certainties a Hillary Clinton administration would bring.

James Comey gave GOP plenty of material against Clinton, now they need to use it properly.
From The Washington Examiner via H/T at Instapundit:
Yep!Yeah Donald, where is it?Hillary Clinton might not be indicted for her mishandling of classified information using her private email server, but FBI Director James Comey has certainly given the GOP enough material to use against her in the general election. So where is it?
That is, if they use it properly.
Comey handed the Republican Party multiple TV ads between his statement Tuesday and his congressional testimony on Thursday. All the GOP needs to do is make a short ad with all the various ways Comey called Clinton incompetent.
“Extremely careless.”
“Real sloppiness.”
“Not sophisticated.”
Comey all but said Clinton was so incompetent — even after decades in public life — that she put state secrets at risk. It’s an easy ad to make.
