So there was some serious flooding in Southern Alberta and the Mounties came in to to some search as rescue. No big deal, part of the Mounties mandate as first responders.
HOWEVER, at first, the Mounties called the removal of firearms from the homes of flooded residents as a "seizure."
Ooops.
Now the Mounties are "taking possession" of guns that were "in plain view" as opposed to "not safely stored." Sound suspicious.
Unfortunately, the resident have NOT been allowed back into their homes yet, so we don't know the truth yet.
BTW, Canada has a national gun registry, do you think they were checking everyone's inventory?
And if it sound familiar, remember the New Orleans police "seized" legally owned firearms from the citizenry during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Those owners had to sue the Department to get their own weapons back.
Food for thought, Obama and the Dim's want a national gun registry.
