The commander in chief’s meltdown in the polls

From The Washington (Com)Post via H/T at Instapundit:
President Obama’s petulant news conference in Turkey insisting there is no need to shift our strategy for fighting the Islamic State might have been the low point in his presidency. But that does not mean he’s hit rock bottom. Democrats and Republicans alike have criticized him for both tone-deafness and self-delusion, and the longer he digs in, the more frustrated — and scared — the public is likely to become.
.............

The emerging picture is one of a president so ideologically whetted to being the not-Bush, so determined to show he had ended the real threat from Islamist jihadists, so insistent that the prior administration had overreacted to the threat of Islamist terrorism that his administration repeatedly ignored and played down threats, refusing refused to recognize the leading-from-behind strategy of minimalist action was failing. Not even the latest attack has jarred the president. But it has shaken the American people who, whether they think Obama has been dishonest or merely clueless, no longer believes he is fulfilling his most important obligation to keep Americans safe.
When the Washington (Com)Post has abandoned you, time to call it quits.

The Dear Leader has never been about protecting the Country, it has always been about his legacy.
