This feminist wanted to buy an Eli Manning sports jersey -- and was aghast to find there were no women's sizes. Women usually bought children's sizes, she was told. She does have a minor point. I myself like to try on clothes before I buy, but it's not a national emergency when I can't find my size on a store. Especially, if your a Charge fan in the Fresno. Not the store's fault that they keep Raider and 49er gear in stock, you know the jerseys that sell.
But it gets worse -- because Women of Size (WoS) [i.e. very fat and angry], that is, XL women, cannot fit into child's sizes. So they have to buy men's jerseys, which actually fit them fine. But they're marked as "Men's sizes" which therefore denies the female gender exists entirely. Or something.
So in response to consumer demand (or lack thereof) the store stopped carrying certain inventory. Totally innocent. pic.twitter.com/IjKXyFBUR1— Lachlan Markay (@lachlan) October 13, 2015
By the way: It turns out you can buy women's sports jerseys. But most stores don't carry them (because most women don't buy them), so they sell them online.
But this is also a horror on par with the Holocaust, or whatever happened in Armenia.
@kavithadavidson Being forced to buy women's cut jerseys online is not cool. Women need to be able to try on in store for sizing too.
