"Chairman" Ellen Pao Steps Down as CEO After Reddit Revolt

From Wired.com:
Reddit interim CEO Ellen Pao resigned today after facing an all-out revolt on the site in the wake of the firing of a popular employee. ...........

Explaining her specific reasons for stepping down, Pao said, “Ultimately, the board asked me to demonstrate higher user growth in the next six months than I believe I can deliver while maintaining Reddit’s core principles.”
Bull-pucky. She "resigned" under duress for pissing off Reddit's user based. She has tried to "fire" the customers, based on her radical feminist ideologies, which aren't tolerated well in a free speech forum, such as Reddit.
