One of the unintended consequences that I think eventually rear it's ugly head over Justice Kennedy's SCOTUS decision on DOMA and the Prop * case will be the calls for all laws restricting marriages to be deemed unconstitutional. Justice Scalia made this argument during the Texas sodomy case some years ago.
But the justification using the equal protection clause to FIND that DOMA was unconstitutional will be used to justify polygamy, incest, and possibly NAMBLA to change laws against those types of relationships.
Just a reminder, Scalia predicted this.
BTW, I will predict the will soon be a lawsuit trying to force a church to marrying gays, based on a discrimination/protected class suit.
