Maher -- ‘Where Are the Liberals’ To Stand Up for Gay People and Women In the Muslim World?

From Breitbart:
HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher wondered, “Where are the liberals” to stand up for those in the Muslim world who, because of Islamic extremism can’t come out of the closet, leave the faith, or draw a cartoon, and why people on the left “are not to be heard” on the gender apartheid in the Muslim world on Friday.

Maher began by sating, “I thought Barack Obama really nailed it when he said, about eight years ago, that Americans cling to their guns and their religion, because this tragedy was brought to you by guns and religion.”

He added that only one religion bombs and kills gay people, saying, “Yes, the God hates f*gs people show up with placards and posters, and they’re despicable, but they don’t show up with guns and bombs. That’s just the world as it is today. The answer is not to ban Muslims, however. The answer is to ask more of Muslims, I think.”
Radical Islam has been one of the few topics that Bill Maher has been consistent and accurate is exposing the hypocrisy of the Left.

Preisident 4Put has been consistent too, in avoiding the issue and burying his head in the sand.

Bill Maher Owns Guns For Protection, But Others Have a “Sickness”

From Range365.com:
Bill Maher owns a gun, but told Playboy that people who “love guns” suffer from a sickness.
Another in a long line of gun owning, pro gun control, liberal hypocrites. (Jane Fonda, Carl Rowan, Rosie O'Donnell)

Bill Maher Rails Against Political Correctness -- 'You Can't Purge Everybody'

From Breitbart TV:
I bring this up in 2014 because, unfortunately, political correctness is making a comeback, and now with the Internet, it is easier than ever. In the 90s, you had to at least get off your ass to be in a fake mood of hurt feelings. You needed signs, you needed petitions, you had to feed Al Sharpton. Back then, getting worked up over nothing was a lot of work. And now it seems like all the Internet exists to do is point to the latest person who said the wrong thing so the rest of us can feel morally superior. And that's not what the Internet is for; that's what college is for.

Social media is all about gotcha of a homophobic business man, or a sexist cartoonist, or a college president who fat-shames his dog by naming it Waddles.

Last week, when the first gay football player got chosen in the NFL Draft, a player named Don Jones tweeted, "OMG. Horrible." As is his right, under the asshole clause in the constitution. But the Dolphins fined him and threw him off the team until he underwent sensitivity training, which is when then calmly sit you down and then pin your eyes open like in "Clockwork Orange" and make you watch the Bravo channel for 24 hours straight. I mean 24 hours gay.

I mean, when you hear the "Duck Dynasty" guy going off on homosexuality, like he did again this week, why even listen? What do you think he was going to say, the Tonys are nothing without Neil Patrick Harris? Folks, we had a televised celebrated interracial gay kiss during the NFL Draft. The culture war is over, and we won.
...

You can't purge everybody who doesn't evolve exactly on the timetable you did. It reminds me of the immigrant whose been in America for all of a year and looks at someone who came over last week, like, "boat people, am I right?"
98% of the time I can't stand Maher, because he thinks himself as an intellectual. He's just a smarmy liberal. However in one area he is consistent, that's in the case of the 1st amendment. That's why he is such a close friend of Coulter. Politically, they are at the opposite end of the spectrum, but they are both1st amendment absolutist.

Bill Kristol Shreds Bill Maher's Claim Tea Party Happened Just Because Obama Is Black

From Breitbart's Big Journalism:
“The Tea Party condemned a lot of things it was right to condemn,” Kristol responded, before adding, “That was not the origin of the Tea Party. What was the origin of the Tea Party five years ago? It was about a mortgage bill, and it was about Obamacare, and it was about the stimulus.”

Maher then claimed the entire Tea Party movement was racist. “It was about a black president,” he said.

Kristol retorted, “That’s bullshit. That is total bullshit. You think tens of millions of people out there just – even you don’t believe that. You’re just saying that.”

“I totally believe it,” Maher replied. “It happened a month after he took office. Suddenly white people were very upset about debt even though Bush had raised the debt way more than Obama had.”

Kristol responded to that point by noting that the Tea Party movement was also “upset at Bush for raising the debt.”

“There [were] conservatives upset at Bush for raising the debt, and Tea Partiers rebelled against the Republican establishment as well as the Democratic establishment,” Kristol said.

Margaret Hoover, a GOP activist also on the panel, backed Kristol up at that point, noting that Maher had argued that the Tea Party movement was spawned by bailouts – and by Obama’s blackness – and that he cannot have it both ways.
Boom ! ! !
