Bruce Jenner selected as "Woman of the Year"

When it was announced that Bruce Jenner would be named by Glamour Magazine as the "Woman of the Year" I have to admit it made me snicker a little bit. The progressives, which probably include a bunch of militant lesbians and radical gay men, who run Glamour Magazine made this choice to continue advancing the progressive agenda, 'Nothing is Abnormal Now'. For most of us, this is nothing new. Of course, there was the usual carping by miscellaneous harpies on the left about a man being selected as the "Woman of the Year." (If Barack Obama was selected, that's a whole other set of issue, but same agenda). But all of that was boiled down to a single salient thought when I saw the post below on Facebook this morning.

That's when it struck me the irony of his selection for "Woman of the Year." The progressives didn't realize that they have just harpooned every argument that women should be treated as equal to men. Female police officers, firemen, military academy cadets, fighter pilots, and just recently Army Rangers are examples of unqualified women being forced into male careers. It all those cases, there was a second, LOWER standard standard was created to allow them to be 'qualified.'  Even the US Marine Corp has a lowered their physical standards to allow women to participate. Lt. Colonel Kate Germano was relived of command of a female recruit training battalion at Parris Island for trying to get the women to perform similar to the men.

From The Washington Free Beacon:
Germano’s crusade had apparently been to eliminate disparities between male and female recruit performance at Parris Island, within reason. For example, there was a gap between male and female performance on the rifle range, for which there seemed to be no explanation other than low expectations. All, including the men who fired her, concede that she made major progress in fixing this.
So they fired the Lt. Colonel for demanding those under her command to get better and perform at the USMC standard, not just the USMC female standard.

Continuing from The Washington Free Beacon:
Germano’s sin seems to be that she was pursuing actual respect for—and self-respect by—women in the Marine Corps, and not the fictitious appearance of equality that both her bosses, and some of her subordinates, appear to prefer.
This is a prime example why women should not be allowed to be in combat units, the women in those very units want a separate and unequal standard for them, while demanding to be treated as equals.

Bruce's (not Caitlyn) will always genetically male, regardless of the appearance of the plumbing and the hormones he's taking.  And if you were to compare his physical attributes to any other woman his same age, he will always be better.

All of this evidence should prove that not matter how you compare them, a male will always be better than a woman.
