Forget the 26-year-old zero who murdered 10 innocents at Umpqua Community College on Thursday morning.Mintz was shot seven times, and the shooter missed critical organs and nerves, but broke both his legs.
The one to remember is 30-year-old Chris Mintz, the student and Army vet who was shot at least five times while charging straight at the gunman in an effort to save others.
Mintz did so on the sixth birthday of his son, Tyrik.
He is another fine example of the brave men, who are/were part of the American Military. Like his brethren, who stop the Paris Train Shooter, he did not retreat, like the French, but charged ahead and attacked.
So how long, if ever, will it be before he is invited to the White House by the Dear Leader?
