The great engine of the welfare state is the hidden cost. Usually, the costs of a new program or regulation are too diffuse or distant to matter much politically in comparison to the promise of a direct benefit. This time, the costs aren’t hidden. They are immediate and concrete in the canceled policies and the higher premiums, and they are making the politics of Obamacare toxic.Most people are for these programs, because the bill is does not directly effect them in a manner they will feel. Many Liberal claim the big results are worth little pain involved.

The Obamacare Lie That Can't Be Fixed
Rich Lowry, who is the Editor of National Review, wrote an article for Politico.com about the problem Obama will have because of the train wreck, know as Obamacare, is a "Government cause" disaster of epic proportions, which may fatally harm liberalism for decades. He argues:
