Nanny State Alert -- Town Bans Smoking Inside Private Homes

From Cafemom.com
Oh California … you are such a nanny state sometimes. The city of San Rafael, CA, recently passed one of the most restrictive smoking bans in the whole country -- it’s now illegal to smoke in your own home if you share walls with another residence.

The ban applies to all condos, townhouse, and apartments -- regardless of whether the occupants are owners or renters.
Those of us in Kalifornia, we knew it was just a matter of time for this to happen. I always assumed the first City to do this would be either Santa Monica or San Fransisco. Now, San Rafael is in the Bay Area, so it was close.
