Royal Baby Naming contest ! ! ! !

With the upcoming birth of William and Kate's first child, the new royal baby, it reminds me of a story when Lady Diana was pregnant with Prince William. Now at the time we didn't know it was a boy, but that's not an important part of the story.

Some radio station's morning zoo crew was having a contest on the best name for the Royal Baby, and there were many callers with one name or another, all with some type of justification, either historical or hysterical.  Anyway, one of the last callers was a man with an extremely thick southern drawl that spoke very slowly and his suggestion to name the child, "Upon."  The ration station personnel was very surprised and asked why the baby should be named "Upton".

"Well, it's quit simple, when the Royal family attends an official function and they would be announced to the  guests as Up, Chuck and Di!"

He won!!!
